It's already more than 10 years since ProleteR dropped his debut EP, "Curses from past Times"
The signature sound of the french Producer, made of banging hiphop beats and clever patchwork of wonderful jazz and swing samples, was the missing link between the underground beatmaking scene and electro swing music. Some of his contagious feelgood tracks are underground classics.
Call it Swing-Hop, Jazzy Hip-Hop, Electro swing, Electro Soul, it doesn't matter, but you might have already heard here and there "April Showers", "Faidherbe Square" "What Lana says" "Can't stop me" or his tribute to Sinatra's "That's life"
